Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Ptilol

Ptilol here, filling in for Mimette on this one. *rubs her hands together evilly* Mwahahaha.... just kidding. Mimette was supposed to do layout this time around so here goes.

The site opens with a very basic splash and an annyoying Yahoo! Geoshitties ad side banner thingy. It recommends tables and div. Simple enough, let's go in.

The layout is just as simple as the splash page. The same image of Mamoru and Usagi is used on the left side. Most of the page is white with med pink around the edges of the content areas. The text is also in med-dark pink but it's easy to read.

The navigation is easy to find and use. However, there's a little glitch in the code it seems. One page link is covered over by another so that I can't click it. You might want to fix that webmistress person.

The pages refresh for each link but the layout stays the same on just about all of them. The fan fictions and specific episode scripts simply open to a blank page with text when viewed.

In general, the layout is alright. It's not "super duper make me go wow", but it's also not making me sign up for a service dog from blindness.

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

Ptilol

The written bits on this site are somewhat different than most fan sites. The webmistress decided not to use the standard, dollbox stats about Usagi and Mamoru that everyone else uses. Instead, she described when they first met, their first kiss, how they found out who the other really was, and even when Mamoru proposed. The info on all of those is included from both the manga and anime.

The episode segments are alright. All they are, is the lines Usagi and Mamoru say to eachother in each episode. Cute idea, but why use the English-ized names here when all the rest of the site uses the Japanese names?

The fan fiction is ok. Again, a cute idea, but to be honest, not really my thing.

Overall, the written is pretty good. I only saw a couple typos and the grammer is very good.

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

Eudial

Yes, eternal love definitely. I dont know. The whole SailorStars thing has me in doubts of how strongly in love Usagi is. But yeah, that argument could go on forever and I prefer to have this review done in less then forever. So, this looks like, from the name and splash page, that its a Usagi/Mamoru fansite. I am...media. So, yea, to the media section!

Well, the text is rather difficult for me to read, but I'll leave that to the other sections to pick apart and/or destroy. Ok, so, i'm in the manga gallery now. For a second, i got nervous when I saw only three pictures there. But, one must click on them. Hahaha. Oh gosh, I feel foolish. All the pictures, except one, work in the manga section. I shall move to the anime section to see how that one is....oh...poo...no anime pictures. Damn.

And good news is that all the pictures in on site work too. Anywho, that seems to be it for this site. Well, it doesn't really have alot to it regrettably. You definitely need more media stuff here; like more pictures and maybe some MIDIs or whatever.
