Ok... My first impression of this site was "YEA SD Sailor Moon"... my second impression was *bleep**bleep**bleep**bleep**bleep*!!! What the hell were you thinking?!!! I can't even read the "navigation" and frankly I am trying to keep my sanity right now with the fact that you took the time to place alt tags there.

I had to mouseover on the first navigation thingy to see that it reads "Information". Ok.... Your information is nothing that I couldn't find on some better known much better designed sites, so I am moving on.

Next mouseover says that it is "Multimedia".... ok.... Reprint Tankouban.... I get thsoe from Lisa.... LD Covers (used to be common but thank you for having and oldy/goody)... Midi Files...

OK TIME OUT!

In this day and age, why the hell do you have both Midi and MP3 files? Unless you are going to load the Midi for your cellphone, then what the hell is the point? Get with the times people! Now I am going to try to see what Midis are here to see if I can get them to work with my cell :P

Articles. Ok, that isn't a category I see too often. Lets see what are in these articles... Well, that was the point in my life that I want back... the fact that I actually read all of these makes me want to vomit... HEY! Maybe it will match the pink background on this page!!!

The only Article worth reading isn't really so much of an article more then a bitchfest and an ass kissing to Lycentia.... she has enough people with their lips glued to her butt, I guess one more doesn't hurt....

This is going to sound like a cop out.... but well... I am not reviewing the rest of this site. So far it has been complete and utter garbage and I am tired of straining my eyes to try to read it...

Normally I would crank my resolution to see if it works, but if you are trying to view this on anything bigger then 1024x768 you might be asking for eye damage... I have been told it works on 640x480 but well, I use a CURRENT operating system that doesn't allow me to use a resolution that low.... so I spare myself the pain.

Sorry for this one guys.... it is locked in the vaults of the bad for a good while.

Uranus

Right away, when your site implores me to vote for you on top-site lists, a sense of distrust wells up in me. It's one thing to want to exchange links, but asking for a vote is both selfishly solicitous and dishonest. After all, I may not think this is a top site, yet you'd have me vote for you anyway? For instance, the smushed-together text in a tiny box (that purports to be the "cutest frickin' pink layout ever"-more ego) would tend to reduce my desire to go out and vote for the site.

My Hino Rei-like psychic ability is telling me that under the information section I'm going to find senshi profiles. Ooh, first thing there. It's eerie, I tell ya. The dollbox stats are out in full force, and it's probably a good thing that these exist on a thousand other sites, because Serenity knows you'll have a tough time reading them here. Dark-on-dark colors make it difficult to see, and the Ctrl-A trick doesn't even work, since the text is so small and close. Selecting text cuts off the bottom half of the letters. There are written profiles along with the stats, but Tom Wolfe this ain't, folks. Quote: "Rei's mother died when she was little. . . " and then two sentences later, "Like I said before, Rei's mother died when she was younger," Did she think we would forget over the course of five seconds? There is other stuff in the information section, but nothing you won't find on Doi's site, or on the Encyclopaedia, or by Googling.

Multimedia is next, and my hopes are not kindled. There are scans of the new release of the manga, but she's way behind on the current ones. LD cover scans are here as well-cute, but pretty much the best thing here. There are links to mp3s and roms, but they're off-site links to a page that doesn't load. Somehow I am not surprised. I'm skipping a page, but will come back to it, to get to interactive. Here there is some silliness in the form of a Rei-themed Magic 8 Ball, a Minako themed name-compatibility thing, and a Chibiusa-themed game of Tic-Tac-Toe. There are also quizzes here, but they're real easy, and what's more, the pictures for when you finish aren't there. Nothing too fun.

Back to the section I skipped, Articles, and this is make-or-break time. There's nothing I love more than a good opinion piece, so this is the site's chance to get in my good graces. *several minutes later* And, alas, it fails. There are eight opinion articles on the page. There is one opinion here. In the article "Hotaru: Gothic?" it actually reaches a conclusion: no, she isn't. The rest is doubletalk and pabulum. There's one titled "Which is Better: Anime or Manga?" which ends "It's up to you: like the anime or manga or both." Well, thank you, you just wasted 5 minutes of my life. I didn't want your approval to have an opinion on the topic myself; I wanted your opinion. Pick one or the other, even if you tick off the people who disagree. The rest is in the same vein, including such controversial positions as "image thievery is bad" and "flames are bad." Unless you're a politician, say what you think and let people judge it.

Time for One Good Thing, and in this case it's a tip to help you retain your sanity if you ever happen to visit this site. Take the "home" link (it's the tiny little button on the right), copy the url and paste it into your browser's address bar, and hit enter. Then the content will actually fill your screen instead of the superdeformed Sailor Moon picture and the site title which monopolize it. Although, maybe you'll want to minimize how much of your screen is filled with this site.

First impression is that this site is cute to look at. Text doesn't hurt my eyes and I don't have to highlight anything. ^^ Only problem I see are the links. Too small. But when clicked on everything goes where it's supposed to go-no popups!

I'm under 'Information' right now and I'm reading the following links: 'Profiles, Name Guide, Seiyuu Listing, Japanese/English Episodes and Naoko Takeuchi'. Well the profiles are common like many sites have.

The Name Guide lets new fans know what the DiC names are as well as the original Japanese names.

Seiyuu Listing (VA's) lists the Japanese VAs w/the English VAs. I've seen this listing on some other sites so it's not too special.

Japanese Episodes is the complete title list of all 200 episodes! I'd really hate to be her typing that up. >.<

English Episodes is similiar to the above only difference is that it lists what has been dubbed. ^^

And Naoko Takeuchi is a profile of the one who started it all!

Ok moving on to 'Multimedia'! Here we have items such as MP3s to scans of the reprinted Manga to the covers of the LDs. Also has Midi Files and Roms. Roms are the games of Sailor Moon (Another Story and Sailor Moon Puzzle).

On to 'Articles'! All of these articles are opinions from past staff members. Nothing relating to Sailor Moon itself.

'Fan Archives'=Fan Art and Fanfiction. I don't touch Fanfiction.

'Interactive'-Fun games to play. AHA I beat the computer in Tic Tac Toe! GO ME! Bwuahahahaha *coughs* Other games and the like are a name converter and love test and some other cute things. >.> I asked Rei-chan if I'd win the lottery and she said 'No chance, gomen ne.' Guess that's why I never win. *Cries* LOL!

'Gallaries'-tons of pictures! Looking for some pics? This site is a good source.

'Shopping' List images of what's available and links to buy the product.

Lastly there's 'Sitely'. This is where she lists her awards, CREDITS!, and links.

Overall Thoughts-A nicely done site with lots of information and games to keep visitors happy! Only problem would be the links on the main menu. Too small. Other then that this is a good site!

Welcome and site Identity 2
The text is on a neon pink background, and is very small and hard to read. the red colouring of the text also makes it difficult to read. Ideally the font would be in a darker contrasting colour, and larger so that it's readable. As it is, you need a manifier to see it and that annoys me.

Navigation 1
Interesting design concept, that I have seen recently on some sites. It does work, WHEN YOU CAN SEE THEM! Note, the font is so small that you need a magnifying glass or something to be able to read it. Please, change this layout as soon as possible, or at the very least, the navigation. Half the time I don't know where I'm going when I click on something cuz it's just too small and the colour is too close to the background to be able to see it clearly.

Content of Interest 3
-Interesting articles and information, tho the stories need serious formatting. One of them you have to scroll forever, and another one, the lines are all choppy, making the story difficult to read. Most of the thumbnails, which are supposed to like to larger pictures, don't work. Usually I put them up at the same time, and as far as I know, most people do the same. Given that it looks like this site is updated infrequently, I can't see it changing, which is rather disappointing. The games are fun but they're seen on other sites as well, with no credit given on this one, which is a big no-no.

An interesting selection of link categories. It appears that like the graphics, the links haven't been updated as I see several sites there that I know no longer exist and haven't done for some time.

Self-promotion 1
I've seen this site in various forms and I have to say that previous incarnations were somewhat better than this one. There's nothing really here to promote and it's not really done on the site itself that I can see. Since I've not seen link-backs from the pages that are in the links section....well, reader, I will let you be the judge.

Filler 3
There is a lot of actual filler stuff on this site rather than proper information on what the page is supposed to be about. Not that we can clearly tell that either. As I said before, the games are all right as they go but that won't keep people coming to your site.

White-space 2
Can we say too much? It appears this site was originally a pop up type layout that doesn't...and it's just not that great. Cramming too much info into such a small space is very tiring on the eyes, the mind and the body.

Other 3
The site on the whole was interesting to a small degree, but just not enough to keep one here, and definitely not enough to bring me back. With the distinct lack of regular (or even irregular) updates, the site has been left behind by many others and that, in the end, is where I'm going to take myself...
