Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Wow. Just... wow. I'm really not a fan of this layout. The black background with white text look is NOT fashionable at all... it baffles me that anyone would actually use it. For any reason. Ever. This page looks too busy and it hurts my eyes. Why are the colors so bad? What's wrong with using softer colors that actually match?

Well, although the page is NOT easy on the eyes at all, the navigation is very well organized, and I had no trouble finding my way around this site. The biggest problem is the use of color... it is not aesthetically pleasing AT ALL. The best advice I could give this webmaster would be to create a page that's easier on the eyes; all these bright, bold colors clash, and they don't look very good. Use custom colors by finding hex codes, and I'm sure you can find things that match a little better.

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

The Realm of Eternal Sailor Energy, now thats a very..."interesting" title. Well, I do not want to get into the layout of this site as my concern is the written section. However, it seems very cramped. I guess I shall just get started.

I am reading the table of main characters and basic info. I happened to have found a few errors in this so I shall list them as I see them.

"Sailor Venus of Light & Metal" --------> Sailor Venus stands for Love and Beauty.
"Sailor Uranus of Wind" -----------------> This is true, but wind is more Jupiter's domain. Uranus is earth.

The creator was unsure that Sailor Pluto is the Senshi of Time and Underworld. She was also confused as to if Saturn is the Senshi of Ruin & Death. Both of these are correct. In the "Info Sources of Sailor Moon" section, I must say I love the disclaimer saying not to believe all information sources as they can be inaccurate. Yes, this is certainly true. People have different interpretations for everything. It's actually very good that this was written. Sometimes, people need to be remained of the obvious.

Hmm, please tell me there's more to this site...in regards to written Sailor Moon content...thats it. I feel this site is very weak in the written department. Please add more then just your generic profile.

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

I can state that this site isn't all that appealing to look at but considering all the sprits from different series and such it definitely makes for what looks like a fun site chock full of material.

Ok when it said "gifs" I thought gifs, not sprites. However after looking through them I was squealing happily. The author admits to having not made some of them and gives credit on the pages that they are that they were made by whatever person. And there is even a section for "other series" sprites and of course I hit the Rozen Maiden and swiped the Kanaria ones for use later.

The artwork gallery here is a pleasure. Different skill levels and artists keep things interesting and I rather cracked up at the "Snapshots at the Beach" because it is so truly the personality of each character. Note to all you looking, don't eat chips while viewing that... I choked because of laughing XD

I rather enjoy the drawing tutorials here. Instead of just telling people what looks good and what not this person has taken the time to include actual tutorials which are a rarity now days.

I could go on and on about the content of this site as this site is busting at the seams for content. It is truly a treasure to the SM community and I know I will be coming back often for more entertainment.
