Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Mimette

Uhm.... I love Saturn and I rarely see this image used for a layout, but I am going to now check this in some of my other browsers to see if it works better there cause as it stands it doesn't work for crap in Firefox...

Hmm... IE doesn't seem to be working.... lets try Opera and Safari...

Ok in Safari I have a tiled background that I haven't had in Firefox or IE, so lets check out Opera and then I can continue in Safari as it loads better...

Uh yeah, back to Safari....

There is Saturn in her wedding dress on the right side of my screen and a tiled and faded version of the same image as a background for not only the frame but the rest of the page...

For some reason this person found it fit to put the counter on the upper left hand corner of the main page and to have everything else set to the right. Whereas this is definitely a different approach, it is failing in execution in the fact that out of FOUR BROWSERS that I tried, only one of them even remotely views this.... and it isn't well at that. The layout is consistent and the colors are soft but other than that, I am not going to say much else.

It isn't winning any awards in my book and frankly I am wondering what the person was thinking when they slapped this abomination up... poor Saturn looks a bit too happy for this sad layout.

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

Ptilol

*gets out her magnifying glass* Hmm... why is everything so tiny? It's hard to read what it says without squinting. At least the webmistress can spell and has mastered the art of grammer in the English language. Thank goodness for small favors.

There is tons of written stuff here. There's the standard character stats bit (though this time it's ONLY about Sailor Saturn) but most info seems to be in order. The bio information is extensive and goes into detail about all of her forms, beginning from being an infant through Senshi and even Mistress 9.

The poetry disturbs me. It's one thing to have a favorite character, it's another to be writing romantic poetry about them. The poems themselves are ok, but some are just awful. *twitches*

If the text wasn't so small I'd give you a full box of Kudos, Webmistress. However, since it's hard to read, you only get four bars.

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

...HAHAHAHAHAHA! Oh my lord! That made me laugh so much!! hahahaha. When I opened the link, the whole webpage is located on the upper right corner and the rest of the webpage (about 75% of it is blank white) Oh dear, I wish I had layout section this time around. But, yes, media. lol.

So yeah, we got a broken picture on the main page. Located on the bottom. Ok, Im in the information section right now. The thumbnails used include a small design in them. They fade out in color when the cursor is not on the picture. Alright, I suppose this isnt horribly special, but its good to have something like this rather then nothing. So, I've moved to the attacks section, and it consists of a sound clip of Tomoe Hotaru chanting her specific attack. The rest of the information holds little to no importance in regards to the media section. Moving on...

Media...now, this is my home. haha. The gallery section is your typical selection of small thumbnails. They are divided into 3 catagories; Tomoe Hotaru, Sailor Saturn, and Mistress 9. So, yeah, we got galleries, the pictures work, good enough there. Im currently listening to the sailor saturn music. Its working, so I am happy. *is listening to Sailor Saturn Theme pt.1*

Now, I move into the video section. It seems that we have a fairly large amount of files here. Mostly avi files, but that is to be expected, I suppose. As a matter of fact, I would say that 95% of the files here are avi files. So, I shall move on to the fanart section. It is set up the same way that the galleries were set up. Anyways, I'm going to move on as there isn't much to comment about.

Icons/ Avatars, a decent amount that can be used, ranging from 50x50 and 64x64. One thing that I must address: were these made by you? This should be addressed, and if not, the person should be credited. Same thing is in regards to the graphics and banners section, I see no credits here. Where are they?

So, that is all for this section. Its alright, but it can be improved.
