Alright a splash page. Splash pages are good, but not this one. Why is everything crossed out? Also, instead of me clicking the main image like I would on a normal splash page, I am expected to click the word "enter" here.... ok....

I have got to say that of all of the sites I have reviewed this is by far one the most sterile layouts ever. There are some bars, some scribble background that is properly faded and a tiny image.... it works on standard resolutions and is easy on the eyes... wow. Unfortunately the navigation leaves a bit to be desired. Somebody who doesn't peruse these sites all the time doing reviews might not know that the four stars on the left are for navigation because there is NOTHING stating that they are.

You remember what I said about this being a decent layout? Forget it all! I just clicked the first link and I am taken to a page with an oilspill background with an image in the middle with an assload of links.... same thing pretty much for the rest of the star links as well. So much for judging books by their cover ne? This one was doing well till I actually opened it.

This is a whopping stamp of "not worth my time" thanks.

Well, you can kind of figure what this site is about. However, the navigation is rather poor because I dont know what link leads to what. So, I gotta play around until I find the information section. Ok, the second star isn't exactly the info section, but there's still stuff in here that I can review.

Ok, mythology. there are some errors in this, so I will do my best to correct it.

"Selene had fallen in love with the handsome King Endymion, who was a mere mortal, and then had an affair with Endymion"

Issue here. Endymion, in mythology, was not a king. He was a mere shepard. (or something of a much less degree. Definitely not a king.)

Next issue:

" Selene, whom did not want to watch her beloved die from mortal's eminite death, cast a spell upon her dear Endymion which caused him to sleep forever."

and

"There is another version of the myth, where Zeus, angry of Selene's affair with King Endymion, put him into a sleep that would last forever. "

Both of these are rather wrong. The story goes that Endymion, realizing that he will eventually grow old, lose his beauty, and die, asked Zeus to grant him immortality and eternal beauty. Zeus, being a really evil god in his own ways, casted a spell that would put Endymion to sleep forever. Thus, allowing him to stay alive and beautiful, just...couldn't do anything else.

Moving on, we go to Scout Stats. What we have here is your generic information about the sailor senshi. You know, names, attacks, eyes, favorites, etc. Nothing teribly special here. Moving on...

The rest of this stuff are things I can't really review. So, I'm going to go to a new navigation and see if there is anything new I can grab at.

Ok, third star is series. Seems to be a description of the series, split into the seasons. In Season 1, it says that Usagi befriends Mamoru. I'd have to disagree. In the anime, she absolutely hates Mamoru until she finds out that he is Tuxedo Kamen and Endymion. Then, her hatred turns into love. I'm trying to figure out exactly which version of the anime this person is discussing: the dub or the sub. The writer keeps going back and forth between the two, and its rather difficult for me. There's one point where they say that Chibi-usa is Usagi's cousin. No sir. Chibi-usa is her daughter.

Ummm, thats pretty much it. Not the best, I'd have to say.

This is my first review, so bear with me everyone.

I know layout is not my job this time, but I must take a moment to say how much I HATE mystery navigation (that is, having an image with no text as navigation so you don't know where you are being sent.) After examining the status bar, I have discovered that the first blob-star-thing sends me to the galleries. Thankfully, the galleries do not open in the tiny iframe like I feared.

The galleries aren't clearly labeled, except for what gallery number they are, which is quite annoying. It turns out that they are divided into section by who is in them (Serena and Darien, Serena, Darien, and Family) The galleries themselves have a wide variety of pictures from the artbooks, manga, and anime. Unfortunately, there is also a wide variety of quality evident among the images, ranging from crystal clear scans to blurry screencaptures. Also hidden among the thumbnails are a few dreaded 404 links.

Alas, the galleries are it as far as media goes on this site. The OMG DUN STEEL rules say something about music, but I'll be darned if I can find any. While the galleries are pretty good, I can't say I'm overly impressed since they seem to be the sole selling point of the site.
