Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Mimette

Ok, this splash page is simple but the image is ineffective. The point of a splash page is to have a clickable IMAGE as your link, not a bright blue "enter" link. And yes, I put it in lowercase because that is how this person has spelled it. I am entering..

Well the layout is simple enough. A pretty image on the left, a white box on the right, and a navigation box on the top. The navigation though is a bit hard for me to read because it is rather small. I understand that some people work on smaller resolution, but in today's world the standard resolution is 1024x768 and that is what I work on... on a 12 inch notebook as such this is rather hard on the eyes. Maybe a size up would be better, but then again, maybe I am being picky.

There isn't much more that I can say about this site. The layout is simple, but on a non-layout related note, there is nothing like clicking on some links to check for consistency and finding that "sorry this page does not exist" page from Geocities.... people get the hint, don't put your site live with active links if they don't work, it is annoying and it makes you look amateur... and maybe you are, but it makes me want to just close the window right there.

In closing, as much as this layout is functional, it borders on the flavorless side. Yes it WORKS and yes the image used is pretty but it is almost TOO plain. Even a simple tiled background could spruce this up a bit and maybe the author might want to think about that because as it stands, there is nothing keeping me wanting to come back to this site. The things that did work were all available on other sites that are much better organized and easy to read. Nice try, but keep trying.

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

Ptilol

I don't have a whole lot to say this time. I can't find any major issues with grammer or spelling. There are one or two little typos, but such things happen.

The textual content of the profiles seem to be the standard info along with the transformation and attack phrases. Yadda, yadda, yadda....

Nothing much else to say. No complaints here. *hands the webperson a kudos bar* Enjoy.

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

Eudial

Ok, this is a geocities site...blah. Alright, lets see what I'm in charge of. *looks* media...Ok, lets see what this site has. Because this is a geocities site, I dare say that I don't believe there will be any video media.

Alright, off to Anime Galleries. This space is seperated by the inner senshi, outer senshi, and others. .....OK! the inner senshi do not load up. Hello, broken links. My name is Eudial. Pleased to meet you. >.< The outer senshi and the others section have a small section of thumbnails. Only about 1 1/2 pages maximum. Tuxedo Kamen does not work at all.

Now, off to the manga gallery. The space is seperated into the same sections as the anime gallery. The inner senshi do not work in this section either. >.< Argh. Not once, but twice they fouled up. Same with Tuxedo Kamen!!! AAAAAH! (Eudial is going a bit nuts) And the choices of pictures are...not exactly stellar.

Multimedia section. This section is divided into three parts; Midis, Wavs, and Lyrics. Lyrics isnt even up yet, so we will have to bypass that. Midis, very small selection of songs in dub and sub. The Sailormoon Wavs are simply the attacks and transformations. Most seem to be in English, and a few in Japanese.

Hmmm, besides a few coloring pages, thats it for media. Not too much here, but that was kind of expected.
