The Sailor Moon Pocky Box : Reviews

Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Eudial

Yay! Eudial back for another enjoyable review. Twas amusing. I thought that the first page was a splash page. However, I noticed the elongated toolbar. So, no splash page, and on with the layout review.

Ok, so on the main page, the navigation is just the name of each section. Oh...my...gosh. Alright, what the hell is this? Most of the links for the senshi send me to a blank page. And for the links that actually work, it sends you to the guestbook. Oh gosh, the other witches should have fun with this.

I cant tell if the layout is uniform or not, so this site already gets an ugly from me. Fix your site, please.

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

Mimette

Oh how I loathe the "written" category when it comes to sites that have setups like this. Wait, I am getting a vision, it states that there will be dollbox stats, spelling mistakes, and maybe some bad Japanese "lessons". Oh how I wish I didn't have this psycho.... uhm psychic power. Isn't that what they call a Freudian slip?

Well that was fast. This concludes my review. There is nothing here! I mean nothing!

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

Cyprine

Alright, SailorGoddesses is another one of those free, PageBuilder-type Geocities sites that are essentially a waste of good, free bandwidth and web hosting space. I'm supposed to be looking for Media on this site, but I can honestly say that not only is there no Media on SailorGoddesses, there is not much of anything.

From the main page, I click on Moon, where I am taken to a sub-site containing a picture of Neo-Queen Serenity and... a guestbook. No profile information. No pictures. Just a lousy, free Geocities guestbook. I suppose that counts as Media. The lame kind of Media.

Lather, rinse, and repeat this pattern for all the other character subsections. And not only is there only a guestbook in each of the character subsections, it is the same guestbook. What a pointless waste of twenty kilobytes.

Oh, and the site loses what points it might have accumulated for actually including broken images at the bottom of each of the site templates, following the "Home" button. Is it possible to have negative points?

At least the main page is gracious enough to inform us that the site is under construction. Then again, perhaps the sign should be more appropriately labelled "under demolition".
