Layout & Design Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing? |
CyprineI like it. I actually like it. Upon first glance, this site is very attractive. The colour scheme is soothing, the fanart of the made up Senshi is rather nice-looking, and all the font is more or less legible. The webmaster didn't go psycho with the star brush -- good sign! Flipping through the pages, I realize that the upper left-hand fanart changes at random -- I like this effect and it occurs seamlessly. I like the way the reams and reams of fan-Senshi profiles are presented, it's easy to navigate and fun to look at. Cropped images for these characters are a big plus since, well, unsurprisingly, I have no fuckin' clue who these characters are. There are a couple of broken images in the Sailormoon Genesis and Sailormoon Neo sections. The art gallery uses one of those image content managers, but it's actually used rather well with the rest of the layout, so kudos for that as well. Overall, I like the look of the site. It's rather soothing and non-hurtful to the eyes. |

Written Content Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content? |
PtilolThere is a lot of written content on this site. The good news is that I don't have anything bad to say about it. The Webmistress built this site to host her fanfiction series that she created as a spin-off of the Sailor Moon series. Skimming through a couple episodes of her fanfiction, I find no major grammatical or spelling errors. The profiles of her characters are very detailed as well. Huzzah! Some one who can actually write and spell. *hands the creator a box of Kudo's bars* I have no complaints at all. It's refreshing to read something without having to stare and try to guess what the author meant. |

Visual Content What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally? |

Overall How does the site flow, overall? What are the wholistic impressions the viewer gets from the site? |
ViluyThe main page looks well organised with the menu items at the top and left-hand side. The layout is a bit overpowering on the blue, but I'm a true-blue-lover LOL so I don't really mind it. It's a blog set-up with entries going back a ways (none of my business really...) about updates to the site and other stuff. The categories are pretty well self-explanatory, although a few things could possibly be combined into one page; the flame vault and hall of shame, for one, and the quizzes, and blog goodies for another. The writing is very well done, no spelling errors that I can find, and very few (if any) grammatical errors. (which is more than I can say for myself at the moment *chuckles*) The artwork, on the whole, is very well done too, as well as being well organised into separate albums for each character or set of characters. The story organisation is incredible, almost every episode translated into both English and French, and set out in an easy to find format. You might want to think about using software to keep track of this growing archive - I've recently heard of eFiction, which can make it easier to update. Just a thought :) All in all, I am very impressed with this site. The only thing I would change is the banner picture at the top of the site - the red suited senshi clashes with the lavendar blue of the page itself and looks out of place. Also, the aforementioned possible combination of pages, as well as looking into the software for easier fanfiction management might be an idea for the webmistress to look into. |
