Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Eudial

Alrighty, we got a nice splash page; subtle colors, clickable tab, and internet requirements. Everything you need on a splash page, so that is quite good.

Wow, opening to the main page, this looks like it was done by someone who knows their stuff. The colors are very pleasing to my eyes, and the overall layout on this page is very nice. Everything has its own place, and its navigation bar is extremely easy to locate. (you really cant miss it) To make sure the layout stays the same, I am clicking on each link. I'm pleased to announced that the layout is the same on all the pages.

...You know, I REALLY can't bash this site on its layout. It really is done extremely well, and I am impressed by this. Good job.

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

I got the written section this week! So with that, let's take a look. Everything looks good, laid out pretty simple. Nothing big or bulk, which makes it nice. (don't like those screamin texts! LOL) Anyways, things seem to flow nicely. Which is also good. There isn't much on the home site, just an update of sorts. The only recommendation I would make here is to break that one large paragraph up and make it at least two.

So that's the main page, now for the rest of the site. Theres a link for a list if profiles, summaries, japanese episode guide and encyclopedia. The profiles look good. Nicely laid out and organized. Though if I had to be picky I would say that the thing I had to be picky about is "Usagi's Dream" he has that listed as "to marry Mamoru" I believe her dream was "to be a bride" Now I am sure it doesn't matter, but given that she didn't even know who Mamoru was in the begining, I doubt that would fit in to her dream. Plus the gemstone for June is not diamond, it's Pearl (I know this cause my daughters birthday is in June). The site has it listed as "diamond" and I have also noticed that he has other gemstones misnamed for the senshi. Which makes me wonder if this person is going by birth month or other. It looks like birth month to me, in which case, Mars would be wrong as well as some others. I suggest stating the gemstone part more clearly. Instead of "Gemstone" and listing the wrong stones for the months, perhaps it would be better to list "Birth Gemstone" or Favorite Gemstone. But it needs to be fixed, it's completely misleading, especially to those who don't know much about Sailor Moon. If your going to post that kind of stuff, make sure it's correct before doing so! There are places on the web to search birthstones and what months they go with!

The next thing on my hit list today is the Fanfic. I read through most some of it...ok so a little of it. Fact is all those "::" were driving me batty. Please that needs to be fixed. You can still write a good story and not have those in there.

Other than that, there really isn't to much to complain on. I do suggest tending to those bits of information I mentioned though and that's it!

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

Ptilol

I've got media to go through today and boy is there a ton of it on this site. Where should I begin?

The information section has profiles, season summaries, an episode guide, and even an encyclopedia. It's all rather extensive, but well done.

Miscellaneous, has even more things in it to check out. Under "Destop Goodies", the wallpapers don't make me want to tear my eyes out. There are also some icon and cursor sets to download. There isn't much in the fanart section. The few that are there, however, aren't bad. Also included in this section are fun projects you can print out, some crossword puzzles, and the overly done YKYWTMSMW.

Moving on to Multimedia. You have your choice of Mpeg's, Mp3's, an image gallery, midi's, and lyrics. There's a good selection of music files to pick from. The video clips have a screencap next to the detailed description of the file, along with how long it is. The files are divided into sections according to character.

Overall, it's clear a LOT of time was spent putting everything together. The media goodies are great and can keep me here for an hour or so. *hands the webmaster a box of Kudo's* Great job, Mr. Webmaster.
