Layout & Design Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing? |
CyprineWhile I understand what the webmistress was going for, I can honestly say I don't like the concept or the execution. The color scheme isn't bad, it's just a grey-blue and white. But that navigation table just makes me twitch. Why put an image behind it if you're going to cover 80% with big white circles. Iron Mouse has a bit circle over her face, and I can barely even tell what the heck is going on in the picture on the left. I will cut the webmistress a little slack. Judging by the 600x400 resolution warning, this site was probably made in the late 90's. It doesn't fall prey to many of the traps of those years (blinking .gifs, javascript, java applets, or OMG BRIGHT text.) Moving on to the content pages...we seem to have completely lost our navigation. All that's left is a little home link at the bottom. While I didn't like the huge navigation table, at least it was useful. Also, the repeating chibi-Mouse border is too busy. The nicest thing I can say about this layout is that it could be far worse. |

Written Content Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content? |
Tellu
Something is terrible, terrible wrong with the person who wrote the info on this website. To begin with, it's in first
person, as if it's written by Sailor Iron Mouse. Which would be all fine and good (albeit still a little weird), except
that I would expect the real Iron Mouse to know that she is an ANIMAMATE, not an "Animate." If I was looking for info on
Iron Mouse and read the profile section, I would know absolutely nothing about her except that she compares herself to
Dr. Who. WTF.
