Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Tellu

The simplicity of this layout is what really makes it great. Just your average black and white manga scan with a purple header and purple links. Almost painfully simple... but I love it!! The navigation is very straight-forward; no questionsthere. I love the fact that when I click a link, it opens to a new page with graves on top. VERY classy. Great job on this!

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

That is a very interesting site name for a Sailor Moon site, if you don't mind me saying so. So, its a fansite about Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon. This is a manga senshi character so I gotta do my research on this person. *reads Wikipedia* (bless this wonderful site lol)

Well, in this site, it says "Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon almost kills Sailor Moon, Sailor Kakyuu, and Sailor ChibiChibi, but in the end she is destroyed by the Amazoness Quartet." However, according to Wikipedia, they say "She attacks Eternal Sailor Moon, Sailor Kakyuu, and Sailor Cosmos, but the three are saved when the Sailor Quartetto and Sailor Chibimoon, destroy the villain with their "Amazones Jungle Arrow" attack."

To me, attack and kill are VERY different things. I am going to take Wikipedia's word for this as they are quite accurate on many things.

Name meaning, this is interesting. This person writes "Now, if I had paid more attention in Science class I would have more to put here, but basically a heavy metal is a transition metal or toxic metal that accumulates in the body (and generally kills you), such as mercury, lead, or cadmium. As Sailor Heavy Metal Papillon is the most powerful animamate it isn't surprising she would be named after metals poisonous to humans"

This is...sorta true. However, any metal transition of non, is poisonous to humans if there are excessive amounts of it. Iron, for example, is a transition metal. We have it in our body, but it doesnt kill us. Unless, of course, there are excessive amounts of it in there. So, this person is sorta correct, but I feel they need a better reason for the naming of this senshi.

This seems to be it for the information section. Hmmm, well, its really short. Not a lot to discuss here. You need more information and something a bit more eyecatching rather then basic knowledge. Put a little more into your written section so this site can stand out.

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

Mimette

Heavy Metal. The name of this site alone takes me back to childhood where my mother felt that I was old enough to watch such a sexual movie. Many years later I realize that the size and physics of the boobs in that movie are impossible and now wonder what the author of it was thinking, however I really do need a copy of the songs on the soundtrack...

Ok, enough reminiscing. On to media XD

Being that I am here for media, I have taken the liberty of touching the "entertainment" button and I am taken to "images", "fanart", "fanfiction", "how to kill sailormoon", "adopt a papillon", "computer", "why".... well you get the idea. So starts the tedium of going through each of these and finding what meager offerings this site will have.

And thus the annoyance has already started... this alignment of the site to the right has been alright thus far, but dammit when my text is running off the page that is a problem! Please fix this!

I know that there aren't that many images of HMP through the manga and artbooks since she was there for only ONE act, but these images have that feeling of "poorly" scanned.... I dunno, even my scanner that is a piece of utter crap scans larger and better images than this, which makes me wonder if these were just grabbed from other sites or what not.

Ok fanart can officially kiss my ass. Not only did it redirect me to a Tripod location, the fanart here really isn't all that great to begin with. At least not good enough for me to sit here and watch my browser lock from there goddamn flash ad laden popups!

If the text wasn't running off the screen I would read "how to kill sailormoon" but as I don't feel like bothering with it, I will pass.

I am not sure why, but when I clicked on "Adopt a Papillon" I thought I would be allowed to adopt butterflies, not these ripped off sprites....

Well I am done. Having gathered nothing from this site, I can honestly say I won't be back here again.
