Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

There's not really a whole lot to the layout for this site. The main page opens with a med-large cap from the video game with some content to the right of it. The rest of the empty space is stark white. The image is cute, but the whiteness of everything else is overpowering. All the important links and such are in red text that's easy to read.

Each new page has a little header banner with the name of the page and a headshot of either Yuunichirou or Rei or both saying something semi-relevant to the content of said page. It's kinda cute the first couple pages, however, it gets old quickly. Again, the sheer amount of white space, doesn't help either.

Well, that's about all I have to say. There just isn't much to comment on. Have a Kudos bar for attempting to do something different with the site theme.

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

Tellu

I just have one thing to say...

Holy hell, that's a lot of info! And it's well written, too! Good grief! Someone has really been doing her research! This has got to be one of the most (if not the most) comprehensive shrines on the 'net, and it's about a character that plays such a small part! I am definitely impressed with the amount of info here.

The site details all of the important Yuuchirou episodes in the series, and discusses how each shows the love between Yuuichirou and Rei. If you ever want to know anything about Yuuichirou, this is the place to go!

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

Viluy

Ok Media is this weeks theme...but there really isn't much. This site has a ton of pictures though and some of them are cute! That shows when you first see the main page of the site! It's a scene from the an SM Game!

Then there's the entertainment area, I think that's a bit misleading. When I frist saw it, I immediately thought of things like games, or video shots and what not. Instead it's filled with information really. From comparing Yuuichirou to many of the other male SM characters, to a character look alike page, a page listing some sequences from the SNES RPG game, again mostly focused on Yuuichirou. There's a written out part of the words that take place in the game and screen shots below.

The next area you can call media would be the galleries. Mostly screen shots of Rei and Yuuichirou. Some of the pages have titles for each of the group of screen shots you see, in which the pictures are thumbnail size.

There are also random screen shots listed on several pages. Mostly of Yuuichirou, but you get a glimps of the other characters mixed in as well.

All in all, the site media is ok. Nicely laid out and not really annoying. Though I would love to see more media on this site, I can honestly say the media sections are all in all...good. So with that, I give two thumbs up! Good job! Cause fact is, you hardly ever see anything on the minor characters!
