Layout & Design Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing? |
Tellu
I can tell just by looking at the splash page that reviewing this site is not going to be a fun experience.
Looking at the code it's been made by Yahoo! Pagebuilder. I'm not really sure how PageBuilder works because
I do all of my own coding, but there are like a million tables in here to put the text where it should be.
Why? It's totally pointless!

Written Content Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content? |
ViluyOh gee, where do I start? The opening page is awful, with clashing colours and font sizes. I really don't see how the webmistress could really say this is a good site, with this kind of stuff going on. Links to pages in different colours? Again, in different sizes. Not so different from the splash page then. *sighs and clicks* Oh dear. I think I'm going to be ill. *is serious* The colour scheme of the Bio pages (or rather...the lack thereof) is really something to behold. It bills itself as 'all the info you could ever want' but is sadly mistaken in every way. That's what we have our Tellu's The Oracle for. This is just a sad pathetic attempt at...something. The first one isn't so bad, blue text against a black background, although the page is coded so badly that the text merges together in Firefox. The horror comes in the bright flourescent yellow of Mercury's bio. Then...with the next button hidden somewhere in her bio, one click... *screams* AHhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!! Bright blue background with red text for Mars and purple for Jupiter, followed by the same hideous yellow for Venus. I think someone should call the police for assault here. Those colours are seriously making my migraine worse here...*clicks away* One word of advice - if you're going to have pictures, don't put them 'as is' under your text, as it makes it unreadable. Seriously. Pink on black for Chibi-Usa isn't too bad, I suppose, but the pictures really do get in the way of the text. You just can't read it. The PoV page is pretty useless. There are no credits and who really cares about SOS? They're rubbish. Always have been, always will be. Just a bunch of nutcases, rattling around in their little box. The only thing good I can say is that from what little I could see of your content, it appeared to be accurate. Barely, but yeah. That's pretty much all there is as far as written content, as the other pages either aren't there at all, or don't have textual content. This is bad enough though, so it gets a butt-ugly vote from me. I don't ever want to see this site again, frankly, as it's just made me feel like I am going to be ill...and I hate that. There are much better sites to waste one's time on, like...a site for a garbage disposal company. Oh, and one last thing. Millennium is spelled using two ns, not one. |

Visual Content What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally? |
Ptilol
Alrighty boys and girls, it's media time, brought to you by me, the lovely Ptilol. *bows* Are you ready? Here we go.
