Layout & Design

Is the layout intuitive and easy to navigate? Is it compatible across all browsers and resolution? Is it aesthetically pleasing?

Already, from the title, we can tell what this site is devoted to. Le duh, Chiba Mamoru. You don't see many of these sites around nowadays. Mostly, there are sites only devoted to the couple or sites devoted to Mamoru's love rival, Seiya. I don't know why people like Seiya so darn much, but thats their opinions and I won't rain on their parades. So, from clicking on this site, we see a beautiful layout.

Everything here is neat and arranged perfectly. The navigation is charming and easy to find. (Its kind of really noticable, which is good) I prefer to not have to search for a navigation bar or having to really focus on it because the font is so small. Rather, the font of the nav. bar is perfect. I'm going to guess...14 with bold? Just what you need so a person will just say 'Oh, good, here it is.'

The use of colors on this site is rather good. They arent flashy or hard on the eyes. Rather, they are soft and subtle. I was worryed for a second when I saw yellow on this site, but its such a toned down yellow that its not horrid on my eyes. Great job on the choice of colors. Someone was paying attention in Color Theory class.

What I'm also happy about is that the layout is universal. With a layout like this, there should be no excuse to want to change it.

Ya know what, I'm impressed. Great job with this layout.

Written Content

Is there lots of written information? Are all profiles, back story, and other textual content accurate? Does the site offer fanfiction or other miscellaneous written content?

Wow this makes for an interesting site to review. Everything here is basically on Mamoru, however it's not what you think. It's more of a site that the owner created to host her own articles, based on her own opinions of the Mamoru and his life.

I've looked through the site and I have to say, if your an openminded person and you love to hear other people give their thoughts on a character, than this is the place for you. Everything written here is very nicely thought out and put together, the information used is cited for each article that is listed. All the information cited is listed on the same page as the articles themselves, down at the end of the page. This nice to know, so if you have any questions or you care to argue a point about something the site owner has written, you can look it up for yourself and develop your own thoughts.

The only thing that I've really found wrong in regards to the written content of this site, is that some of the articles have some words that are not spelled correctly. For instance, in the "Character Analysis," Artemis is misspelled and Helios for some reason tends to have parenthesis around the H. *scratches head on that one* I really didn't catch a ton of problems, but I recommend doing a spell check anyways. Only because you are bond to come across those kind of mistakes.

Fact is, even though these are solely based on opinion and speculations, they are well written and thought out. Nevertheless, poor spelling, even in the smallest degree, can steal from content completely. Hard work should be reflected in all degrees. For example, the time one spends on putting together the information, forming that information into written works, the grammar of the content and the spelling aspects of the written pieces. All this should be reflected in the end product.

Overall, I really did enjoy this site. I think the articles are well worth reading and are great for providing a different view on a well known character. The over all content is nicely laid out and well organized. However, I do believe the spelling should be corrected. Other than that, all in all, I find the written content of this site to be pretty good.

Visual Content

What kind of visual content is offered? Is it efficiently organized and intuitively accessible? Are all visual media offered legally?

Ptilol

There doesn't seem to be a whole lot in the media department today. The site consists of mostly opinion articles about the various aspects of Chiba Mamoru aka Tuxedo Kamen. There are some interesting perspectives, but it's all just the person's opinion.

I did stumble onto some fanart images. There are six in total. All look pretty good.

That's about all there is. If you like reading about others' perspectives on a particular character then you'll be in luck. If you're looking for galleries, etc. then you're better off continuing the search.
