OK!!!! Well...the only form of self-promotion cant be reached because nearly ALL THE LINKS ARE DEAD!!!!!! AAAAAAAAAAAAH!

Layout? What is a layout? I think that this person asked that question a few times too many.

There is a very bad background here. Even worse is that this background (if you can call it that) is tiled.... badly. You see there are some purple spaces around the background tiles that I guess are supposed to act as some sort of lines, althought why they are there to begin with, I have yet to figure out. Even more worse than that is the fact that this image is of what appears to be Princess Serenity fanart and it is chopped off poorly at the top of her head. It is grainy and very bad quality. This is not a suitable background for tiling.

You see children, there are some backgrounds that work very well for tiling. If implimented correctly, they can look rather classy and nice. This background is NOT one of them! If you are going to have tiled backgrounds, make sure that the image used it properly done! Grainy and chopped off images that have been badly faded and over darkened are NOT good for tiling, nor are they good for viewing as I am now wishing that I had acid thrown in my eyes.

Yes folks, I have spent two paragraphs now harping on JUST the background because it IS that bad. Mind you, this is the FIRST IMPRESSION that one gets from a site! If you understand where I am coming from, you will hand over the acid now. At least that way I can feel on my monitor and hope for no braille popouts....

The rest of this main page is all centered and crap. There are banners and ads and bad fonts used. Not to mention, there are about a million broken images on this front page. However as I am on a Mac they do not show red X’s like on my PC, so if they show for you, congrats, you can now officially file for disability for being blind. Yes I say blind because other than having your eyeballs plucked out Kill Bill style, I can’t think of anything else that is more suitable to bear with this mess.

Wow, “My HUGE Sailor Moon Image Gallery”..... when I first read it, I was expecting to see something HUGE.... however this site needs Viagra to be HUGE. When a full section says that it is “N/A” that says to me that the Cialis isn’t working and that you need the little blue pills because obviously Levitra and Enzyte didn’t work either. If it is so huge, I wouldn’t need other things for amusement. However, this is not my section and the layout sucks as much here, as it did on the main page.... however if you want to talk about suckage.... Well the blinking “Warning” will sure help you there.

I clicked on a few of these links for her “HUGE” gallery and I was taken to a directory listing. As much as on most sites, I would ridicule this practice, on this site, it is a blessing. For now I have seen the white light of the Geocities directory listing. Hooray! Now I can quickly recover some health before going back into the gauntlet that is this rechid purple koolaid vomit color..... If you have ever vomited up purple koolaid, you know what I speak of....

Yea! The Fanfiction section is just a beaut! That horribly tiled background is one of those lame-o freebie backgrounds that come with every Geoshities site because you can get them for free off of their servers of backgrounds that were popular somewhere around the same time parachute pants were. If this were the mid to possibly late 90s, I might let this background slide.... however this is 2005.... meaning I have been out of high school for 5 years, I feel old, and this background is just about the same age as me. Hooray! Life if happy.... I am old.... now somebody give me a lobotomy....

Sounds leads me to another tiled background, but this one actually tiles well! For once in this miserable webmaster’s life, they managed to NOT want me to strangle them. I shall forgive them for ONE page of the last couple “things” on this site as I can’t consider them anything more than “things”. Hey, if you possibly manage to have 3 more pages of decently tiled backgrounds, you might be off the hook for those first few pages that made me think of Daredevil as my hero.... lucky bastard....

I know this isn’t my section, but what the hell is a “farefan”?! Yes people I found this in the sounds section and frankly, I would normally scratch my head about this, but the fleas are not bothering me today. If I however come back to this site, I might need a new flea collar, and a bath.

You are forgiven for ONE more page webmaster. Your l337 skills at coding a black background and simple tables with text links allows me to forgive you for one more screw up. I think I will count that one for “farefan” because that one hurt more than the rest of them. However, you are still in the hole. I accept cash, check, and credit cards through Paypal if you wish to bribe me into allowing you nicer comments. If you cannot afford to pay up, than I am sorry but you will be laughed at even more.

Before I banish this site from my gorgeous (and now blind) eyes, I shall ask one thing..... WHAT THE HELL IS THERE AN IMAGE MAP FOR?! Lemme guess. You thought that it was a cool idea, but forgot that there are text links above because you didn’t code this but used the Geocities generator? Did you make a site because you thought it was the “in” thing to do? If so..... get off of my interweb... If you are going to make a site, have a reason, and a purpose, otherwise you are just another crappy site lost in the mist of the rest of the interweb. Have a nice day, and please remit payment immediately.

Opening Page: "I'm a Lazy meantballhead, I know, and no one likes my site, but still, at least I tried right?" Uhm...no, that isn't good enough. Being stupid is no excuse for not having properly cited credits. This is very simple, even someone with a low IQ should be able to figure it out.

Grand total of five links on the site, only three of them are Sailormoon related. Talk about giving credit, eh? Seriously, look up how to do an internet works cited page in MLA format. It'd be a good idea.

Main page - What text there is on this page is badly presented in just about every way. It appears as if the person writes as they speak, and words are capitalised where they shouldn't be. Meatball Head is misspelled, as is 'remodelling', and there is far too much use of '...' in the text. Towards the middle of the page, the word 'sux' is used, which shouldn't be. Unless it's meant to be some kind of urban 'chatspeak' kind of site, don't use things like that, please.

Fan fiction - There is none. It takes you to a page that explains who wrote the stories, but when you click, they're not there. How lame. *sighs*

Review summary - Just three words: get more content. Ok, I lied. More than three words. Learn how to present your work in a proper fashion or don't do it at all. It's very poorly done indeed and it makes me wonder why this site is still here.

Yet again, we have another site that advertises a "HUGE" image gallery. Whenever I see the block-words HUGE, I'm reminded of a cheesy auto salesman in northern NY state who always ends his commercials by shouting the word "Huuuuuuuuuuuuge!!" at the top of his lungs. Needless to say, it's hardly the classiest imagery one could evoke for an image gallery.

Although we are warned in the gallery main section, this does little to appease the fact that all of the gallery links link directly to an FTP directory. This makes viewing the galleries extremely difficult as well as unappealing -- not only am I taken away from the relative (and I do mean relative) prettiness of the site layout to a boring default directory, but I can't even tell what the pictures are before I click on them. Most of the file names are undescriptive, and pictures are even saved in different formats: some .jpg, some .gif and some .bmp... while this in and of itself is not a problem, bitmaps are much larger than jpegs and gifs, but in the case of the files I downloaded, there was no reason why the file couldn't be offered in standard high quality .jpeg format for half the load time.

Moreover, several of the images were of extremely poor .jpg quality, many had compression errors and were generally pixellated to hell and beyond. Most of the other images, especially in the character-focused galleries, are far too small and cropped to be of much use at all.

Finally, even if dealing with the FTP directory wasn't enough hassle for a viewer, the images are poorly sorted, with at least a few images in the 'Couple Pics' section actually being fanart or otherwise having nothing to do with any Couple I know of in BSSM canon.

This "huge" gallery is sizable, but nowhere near as large as it makes itself out to be. My first suggestion would be to create some sort of thumbnail format so that viewers can easily peruse the gallery. Then, the galleries absolutely need to be pruned so that only nice, high quality images are kept in it. Take out the low-quality .jpegs with the compression errors; they have been ruined and are just a waste of disk space at this point.

The site also offers some MIDI files, most likely downloaded from other sources (if I'm interpreting the "Sounds" page's blurb correctly). All of the links except for the "Tuxedo Mask Farefan" (one assumes the webmaster means "fanfare") are working; the Farefan is apparently broken. Offering midis are novel, kind of like offering spanky pants from the 80's, but they serve no real purpose in today's Internet. Nonetheless, the webmaster does get kudos for offering a little more than the standard image gallery.

However, since the MIDIs are only a marginal asset to the site, the site needs to focus its entire attention to working on the galleries, or just take them down and call it a night.
