Design and Integrity:
The splash is really nice although I like it more than the main page which I feel is awfully too bright and the graphic is missing something it needs a little more oomph! I little brushes here a nicer font there possibly pulling it together with the content would be a real plus.

Content:
The content is nice and to the point I like that and its all contained in the iframe except for the last two sections which take away from the site. These sections need to be targeted to the iframe. I like the Back and Home options nice touch! Everything is in uniform as well!

Overall:
Except for the main graphic which is the core of this site needs to spuced up and put in conjunction ( conjunction conjunction whats your function! ) with the site's content! The site is Good despite the minor fixer uppers!

When there is a splash page and my browser proclaims at the bottom "Error on page" that doesn't tell me that I am in for something good, but rather gives me a loatheful sense of foreboding...

The splash images is blue black and white and it is brushed to hell. Please let me find something pretty behind it.

Ok people, I tell you time and time again. Scripts are fine as long as they aren't annoying scripts. This one is. There is a script at the bottom of my browser window that repeats over and over spelling out a message. It is bothersome and my eyes keep going back to it. That doesn't work for a focal point. I don't think most people want a focal point somewhere around their start button.

Next this layout went from the cool blue on the splash page to a pink with blue links. The main image on the right started with some nice cutting at the top but then near the legs the white is still there and even shows the edges of the image showing that it doesn't look like much work was put into the image at all. Also it says "New Moon Guardians dot net" and that is fine, except that isn't the URL to this site. Why claim that that is your name if that isn't your URL?

The News page is scant to say the least. "The Show" link gives me the preview images that are oh so common on PGSM sites, and I understand that not everybody is fluent in Japanese, but damn. I could do better translations with babelfish. Reason being even if this person used those for the translation, they didn't bother to grammarize it for an English site which they obviously run. That being the case, it is more then bothersome to bother reading the preview when I could go somewhere like Shingetsu that has it in proper grammar for the most part.

The Profiles section is less then stellar. The profiles for the main actresses pop open in a new window with an image of their profile that I have seen before and NOT on this site. However the rest of the cast which is rather extensive is all in the original frame on the left side of the page. It doesn't look right, nor does it work well. I don't want to scroll forever for the same dollbox stats on EVERY character when you felt fit in the beginning to put links to the main actresses.

The Gallery is small thankfully. They are in thumbnail form and they are all uniform which is nice. The activities section is a bunch of games and such, but I am viewing the desktop wallpapers section and I have to say right off, that these wallpapers need some help. Some of them are good, others are bad, but they ALL need to be targeted correctly. You see, the wallpapers page opens in a different window. That is all fine, but the links are incorrectly targeted and actually lead BACK to the original frame. Luckily I know what it means to right click and open in a new window. (For those with anti-right click scripts on their sites, keep this in mind. Not everybody likes everything to open in the exact same window.) I am really disturbed by the horrible Sera Myu Neptune wallpaper that is on this page. Not only doesn't it belong here, but on top of it, it is probably one of the WORST wallpapers I have ever seen.

the fan graphics category is rather nicely done. The images are targeted correctly this time, however there isn't much here and I don't really know what these graphics are. There appear to be 2 icons here, and then three images that are considerably bigger but nothing written on them to know exactly what they are.

wow, Lyrics that are easily available on much better sites. Why am I NOT surprised? The Download page isn't a download page at all but a list of links of WHERE to download. "Link Out" has me a bit confused as this is a PGSM site, howevera lot of these links aren't PGSM related. If you are going to run a site that is based upon one thing, STICK WITH THAT ONE THING!!!

There is nothing to say about "Link In" because it is your standard link buttons. So I am onto Creator. This is nothing but a biography about Naoko Takeuchi. I was about to say something about this being oddly familiar to what is found at "Takeuchu-Naoko.com" but they did it for me as at the end of this blurb they admit that the info is courtesy of that site.

Forum and Contact are of no use to me, so I will get onto my advice.

Get some original content. Everything here is stale and could easily be found on much better sites. Give yourself something to stand out. You have a good start, but the only thing that was remotely new to me here was the Puzzles. Get a layout that looks a bit better, figure out what your name really is (New Moon Guardian! with an error button next to it doesn't work for a name, neither does the dot net bit as that isn't the url). Lastly fix some of the targeting bugs on the site. Other then that, you have a decent start, but it needs considerable work.

Uranus

Well, first off I should mention how cool the short URL of this site is. Playing around with the country codes like that can produce some humorous results. But, you can't have the coolest URL in the world and it won't help you if there's nothing behind it, right? And sadly, the provider seems to still force advertising at the top of the page, and it never goes away. But let's get past the splash page and see inside.

On the welcome page we find that the last update to this site was in September. That's too bad, because this is one of those general sites that runs news and things about PGSM, and without frequent updates, there's less reason to see it. Also, the top menu has some of the links end in z instead of s to make the words plural. This is a no-no in all public writing. It makes it seem as though the writer is trying to be hip or appeal to the youth, but it's going to turn off as many people as it pleases if not more.

Despite that interesting URL, there's nothing to indicate that this site is in any way geared toward Europe or somehow not just another clone "about" site. If it were European, the scanty information could be forgiven. As is, it seems like a half-hearted effort. Each episode has a one-paragraph blurb to it, and each actress has only a picture with some biographical data. It's good that the usual show summary and senshi profiles aren't here, but something has to be put in their place to make the site worth visiting. Even the picture gallery had no more than a dozen pictures for any one category. And they're cropped thumbnails, which I detest.

A particular point of annoyance for me is the download page, which, while providing some sensible links to PGSM downloads, also contains a rant on why no one should ask when new subs are coming out. It's now a moot point, but still a sore one with me. If you don't know why, you haven't read my essay in the Drama section and shame on you.

The only part of the site close to what it could be is the activity page. There are some cutsie word searches (I'd be more impressed with a crossword puzzle), some offsite links to a jigsaw puzzle-type-thing (which is weird to do with graphics), fan graphics (we'd call these avatars), and fan comments. That's a tagboard, the good news of which is that its not on the main page.

Because of the lack of updates, the site has become somewhat stale. If the author was to return, there would be a need to raze a lot of the site, clear away the rubble, and start anew from the perspective of the show being finished. One Good Thing about the site is that the author is on board with not watermarking images, so they may be more easily transferred. Now, if there were more images, that would be great.

Chibimoon

Took a few seconds to load but once it finished I'm greeted with the splash page. *snickers* I like the last part on the 'Recommendations': "And most of all, you must love all things Sailormoon". Guess I pass then.

Layout-Something different and unique-sort of. The menu is on top and it looks like an iframe type layout. I can dig it- can you?! LOL! *sorry* The image of the girls is a little choppy. Venus' arm is cut off as are the legs. Bit of feathering can cure that. *Clicks any link* Yep it is indeed an iframe layout. So this is easy to navigate and I thank the maker of the site for it. Let's see what kind of content we have, shall we?!

Content-We have a gallery, activities, lyrics, and profilez (these are the only things I consider content worth viewing on any site). So let's see what each one of these has in store for us.
Profilez-I like how this is done. After clicking on a character, a new window opens to reveal a nicely done "passport" profile. Very original and I like it! However, the above profiles are only done for the main five cast. The others are done on the same page underneath a picture of said actor/actress. There's a long list of profiles so it's something to check out.
Gallery-Thumbnails are a plus here and when clicked on they do open in a new window so you may need to turn off your popup blocker. The author has "in costume" and "out of costume" images so if you're looking for some images, check this site out. However these ARE NOT high quality images like those on three-lights.net. :P
Activies-This includes Wallpapers, fan graphics, puzzles, WORD SEARCHES! OMG *DIES* *Tackels webmistress (?right)* Thank you! Yes I'm an avid word search freak. The puzzles do take a few seconds to load but they are worth it. *psst...how do you make those??!!*
Lyrics-Well these are Kurozuki's lyrics but credit is given for each. I don't have doubt that she has permission-if not, I hope you get it!
Other things on the site are typical, i.e. Forum, Download (this just gives you links to BTs and IRC), info on the show and that's about it. So there is some content worth viewing!

Background/Text-Nothing bad to say. White on white can't hurt. Again the only drawback is the main image we see. A little feather but otherwise nothing is screaming at me to change. ^^ The text is simple and doesn't blind me so another plus in my book for you! Not much else to say on this topic.

Overall Opinion-A nice site indeed. The only thing I don't like are the ads on top. I understand it costs $$$ to run a site so I'm not gonna say more on the ads. The site is something to explore and enjoy and I know you viewers will like it very much. Go and view it for yourselves! Go! Find those words and put together some puzzles (again how do you make those?!!!!) and enjoy!
