NeptuneGeneral Site-Musical Moon...a nice site but the fact that this is on Angelfire suprises me. This is a well known site and
after xx number of years on the web, I would of hoped that it would of been moved to a better host. Oh well. Many know this site
by the sheer fact of Lyric translations. Not just any translations though. Myu translations! Woot! This is one of the best sites to
come to if you need to know what the heck is being sung by your oh so favorite Myu star(s). However, the site has not been updated
for well over a year and it's a shame as there are a few Myu perfomances that haven't made it here. Well, let's just get to the review
then. |

SaturnAlright I can't read the links on the left of this site very well because they are an aqua blue on a cadet blue. So Control+A it is for me tonight. I am however happy that this is a Myu site. There needs to be a better amount of Myu sites on the web these days. There isn't much to review here as there are lyrics for the many Myu. It is simple and to the point. As such, there isn't much to review. However I will state this. It is nice to see a site that sticks to what they said they are going to do. The site design needs some work and needs to get off angelfire, however it is a nice start. I would like to see it go somewhere better in the future. |

UranusOoh, a musical site! Is that good? Yes! Writing, graphics, and HTML, you have to do all three! Ooh. And so, with a reference to one of the funnier scenes in Sailor Stars, we begin exploring Musical Moon, a hybrid of the site which is completely dedicated to Sailor Moon lyrics and the ones that are for general anime lyrics but accept submissions from the outside. The last update to this site was a year and a half ago, but that really doesn't matter because the site seems to have accomplished its mission of cataloguing the lyrics to all the Sera Myu songs. I'm no expert on the musicals, but if they're all here, then the site has indeed done that. None of the tracks on any of the CDs are missing. Well, except for the instrumentals and karaoke versions, but that goes without saying. There's also an alphabetical listing, which is very nice to have since fewer people know songs solely from the album they are on. The layout is also very well done for a lyrics site. The home page has smaller text for a blog feel, but the track listings and the lyrics themselves are regular size. Unfortunately, there's none of the site stuff that can clutter up other sites but is sorely needed here. Even if there were just a site history and the e-mail address had its own page, just to give it a deeper feel. But no real complaints, the work is done. Even the Angelfire banner doesn't get in the way too much. If anything, it's a shame they didn't stick around to add other stuff onto the site. Perhaps they could have done some PGSM lyrics, although those are plentiful enough. Or a guide to the musicals and where to see them. Or a guide to the translations. Anything to give the site more meat. So, yeah, it's a simple site that does what it purports to do and is unique. If every site were like this there would be a lot less need for a site like us to complain about it. If you're a Myu fan, keep this site handy as a reference. |
