Sites in the Bland are good resources for the fandom and are easy both on the eyes and on the mind. However, perhaps there are some minor but crucial errors that must be fixed, or perhaps the content, while excellent, is nothing unique or different, or perhaps the site is merely lacking a little of that je ne sais quoi that skyrockets sites into 'Good'-dom. Usually sites are placed here if a minority of the reviewers found something noticeably wrong with the site. Unfortunately, webmasters who have their site placed in this category often mistake the Bland for the "Bad" or the "Boring". We chose the word "Bland" carefully to reflect our belief that a great site offers flare and fun as well as a plethora of one thing or another. A site being categorized as Bland has nothing to be ashamed of -- instead, the webmaster would benefit from considering our suggestions as possible improvements.
